Vineyard_Info	Notley Gorge Vineyard at Glengarry is located in the Tamar Valley wine district of Northern Tasmania. Notley Gorge is now a large and modern winery which makes wine for the Notley Gorge label, Ironpot Bay and Rosevears Estate and also make contract wines for others. Sourced from Estate grown fruit from three very distinct Tamar Valley sites, the Notley Gorge label is a genuine expression of the viticultural diversity of the Tamar Valley. Surrounded by the river on three sides the Lower Tamar vineyards have a distinct maritime climate with pronounced humidity in summer and autumn and a narrower temperature range. This gentle climate is now providing an ideal location for growing intensely varietal cool climate wines. This results in earlier ripening and due to the clonal mix a fuller, more structured Pinot Noir style. Notley Gorge range includes Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Rosé, Pinot Noir & Merlot Cabernet.
